Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Here is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should inform your decision.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
