TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

The Broker - What It IsTabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker. His background matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker. What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad. The SoftwareThey offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.Accounts and PricingThree tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally. How Fast Are the FillsThe speed is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.RegulationHere is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. But be part of your decision. What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works depends on you.Deposit BonusTabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.Everything in one place, with all the details website before you open an account, is at Trade The Day.
